Where
is Mona Clare?
It seems as if she has disappeared.
She is not with her mother, nor with her father,
But in the hands
of people who do not even care.
At only five months old,
She was snatched from her mother's arms
And placed
into a foster home
Because her parents refused to do what they were told.
When her family peacefully slept,
One
night late last May,
Her house was charged with a battering ram,
But authorities at bay were kept.
Her parents
resisted with all their might
And a warning shot was fired.
In an effort to save their only child left,
They would
not give her up without a fight.
The heart of her loving grandmother failed,
Since her family was terrorized for
three mights and days.
Her mother was tasered, her father too.
Protecting their baby, they found themselves jailed.
Since the apprehension, she has never been seen again.
We are told "It is in the best interest of the child",
While
her mother resists with paper and pen.
If she will come back, we are all wondering when.
